Great Album of Authentic Sounding Early Country, Rockabilly and Rock'n'Roll
"The review title says it all really. This is a foot tapping album with some great arrangements of early country songs such as 'Mind your Own Business' and 'I Saw The Light'. You have rockabily form the Carl Perkins catalogue alongside more modern titles such as 'Rockabilly Rebel' and Elvis influenced material all being delivered with excellent vocal performances from Colin with a really 'rock'n'roll' sound and really nice cutting electric guitar work on a lot of the tracks. There are a few slower songs but this really is an uptempo album. Top class sound and arrangements yet again with that nice authentic sound wether it be the early country sounding numbers or the uptempo rockabilly/rock'n'roll tracks.
