Nice and Authentic - Hillbilly Country
"This album finds Root'n Toot'n in fine form and presenting a selection of songs that are very typical of the live performance that this trio will give when you have the pleasure of seeing them 'in the flesh'. The sound is very 'early country authentic' and has Colin's fine vocals, rhythm guitar and percussion underpinned by Mandy's solid double 'slap' bass and Stevie's fine electric guitarwork. The album has fine selection of songs starting with the original'Nail In My Liver' through a selection of early country songs both toe-tappers and more slower tempo numbers but all with the Root'n trademark sound and as always really good recording quality. The album finishes off with a really catchy number and my favourite selection 'Onie's Bop'. Fine album. Would have given it 4.5 out of 5 . But only cause I'm gettin repetetive with 5 out of 5 !!!! Fine Album" Keith Payne - 21 November 2017
